DO THE FLOORS

| Suitable floors: warm, non-slip surface. | |
| Unsuitable floors: polished surface, rugs (because of the risk of slipping). | |
| It is best to have sealed cork tiles as they are warm underfoot and will easily allow any spillage to be wiped off without damaging the floor. | |
| Fitted carpets or carpet tiles may be another alternative but don't buy them too expensive as they will need to be replaced fairly soon. Spills on a baby room's floor are inevitable. |
