Nine Months : Cot Death

Precautions

• Always put babies to sleep on their backs as this is regarded as the safest position by doctors
• Place your baby in the feet-to-foot position in the cot
• Don't let your baby get too hot or cold.
• Don't allow anyone to smoke around your baby or in the baby's room.
• Don't use a pillow for under two year olds as this could smother them.
• Remove all packaging from the mattress.
