Life after birth : Your postnatal care
YOUR POSTNATAL CARE
The first few days after the delivery will be tiring and uncomfortable for you especially if are caring for your baby all by yourself. Try and get as much rest as possible and don't use the time when your baby sleeps to catch up on unfinished chores. Your midwife will visit you at home for as long as she thinks it necessary (usually 4-5 times in the first 10 days after delivery). Once you are discharged from her care, you can approach your GP for any worries or concerns you may have.
