TRAVEL IMMUNISATIONS
If you are travelling abroad, you must consult your doctor well in advance (about two months before you plan to leave). It is especially important for children to be immunised safely before leaving for a new country abroad as their systems are very sensitive to any kind of infection. This is even more important for babies who have not yet completed their childhood immunisation.
Your doctor or nurse can provide you with more information on the vaccines required for the specific country you are travelling to.
